The statement said, “There has been no attack or vandalism of any kind at house number 32 in the last six months. This happened last night around the statement of the fugitive Sheikh Hasina, which has two parts.”
“One part is that Sheikh Hasina has insulted and humiliated those who sacrificed themselves in the July Uprising. By making irrelevant, absurd and hateful remarks regarding the death of the martyrs, the fugitive Sheikh Hasina has disrespected and derogated the July Uprising.
“Secondly, Sheikh Hasina, despite fleeing in the face of the mass uprising, talks in the same tone she used to speak in when she was in power, carrying out corruption, terrorism and inhumane processes. She continues to speak and threaten the July mass uprising and every person who participated in the mass uprising in the same tone. Sheikh Hasina has threatened to create instability in the country.”
“Sheikh Hasina is continuing to inflict one blow after another on the wounds left in the minds of the people by the July massacre. In response to her violent behavior, the incident of vandalism of house number 32 has occurred. The interim government is on the highest alert to protect the lives and property of the country and the people. The law and order forces are making every effort to bring the situation under control.”
“If Sheikh Hasina, who is a warranted accused of crimes against humanity, refrains from giving a statement, it is possible to avoid a recurrence of such an incident,” said the statement.
