Deprived Deputy Secretaries of the 13th to 22nd batches of the remaining 25 cadres, excluding the administration ones, will be promoted from deputy secretary to joint secretary, by the third week of February.
In addition, some deprived Deputy Secretaries of the 22nd batch of the administration will also get promotion at the same time.
This information was shared to journalists at his office in the Secretariat on Monday, by additional secretary of the Appointment, Promotion and Posting (APD) Division of the Ministry of Public Administration Md. Obaidur Rahman.
The Additional Secretary said, “Process is underway for the deputy secretaries of the 25 cadres. Although they were supposed to be promoted in December, it was not possible due to the pressure of various works. We have started the procedures. If everything goes right, they will get promotion by the third week of February.”
The additional secretary said, “There are some deprived deputy secretaries of the 22nd batch of the administration who will also get promotion simultaneously with these 25 cadres.”
He said process is also underway for the promotion of the 24th regular batch of the administration. They will also get the promotion along with all of them. In total, the deputy secretaries of 25 cadres, the deprived deputy secretaries of the 22nd batch and the deputy secretaries of the 24th batch will get the promotion simultaneously.
