Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) senior joint secretary general Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said mid-night elections was Hasina’s democracy.
He also said: “Putting opposition leaders and activists in the Jail during elections was the democracy of Sheikh Hasina.”
The BNP leader made the statement on Tuesday when addressing a warm cloths distribution event in Rajshahi City Corporation.
He said: “Four-legged animals were roaming around the polling station. No people or voters went there. This is an example of Hasina's democracy.”
Ruhul Kabir furthered that Sheikh Hasina has killed hundreds like Ahad, Abu Sayed, Mughdho to hold the power. She tried to maintain her throne by killing innocent children and young people in the country.
