Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday forecasted that the weather may remain mainly dry for the next 24 hours over the country beginning from the morning.
"Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night to morning," said a Met office weather bulletin on Saturday, reports BSS.
A mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Panchagarh, Kurigram, Jashore, Moulvibazar and Gopalganj. The night and day temperatures may rise slightly over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 29.2 degrees Celsius in Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar district and the minimum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 8.2 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
The sun will set at 05:30 pm on Saturday and will rise at 06:43 am in Dhaka on Sunday.
