Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia to leave Dhaka late Tuesday night for London, where she is set to receive advanced medical treatment. She will be boarded a specialized air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar at 10 pm, according to a briefing by the party standing committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.
The air ambulance comprises four doctors and paramedics from Qatar's royal medical team. Additionally, six members of Zia’s medical board will accompany her, including prominent physicians such as Professor Dr. Shahabuddin Talukder, Professor Dr. FM Siddique, Professor Nuruddin Ahmed, Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Professor AZM Zahid Hossain, and Dr. Mohammad Al Mamun.
Apart from this, Begum Khaleda Zia is accompanied by her younger daughter-in-law Syeda Sharmila Rahman, Chairperson's advisor Enamul Haque Chowdhury, BNP Executive Committee member Tabith Awal and Khaleda Zia's private secretary ABM Abdus Sattar, along with a few personal officials and employees.
