Nahid Islam, the advisor to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology stated that any lobbying carried out using his name will not be considered.
He expressed this information in a Facebook post on Saturday night.
In the statement, Advisor Nahid wrote, "There is no possibility of consideration if anyone uses my name for lobbying. Recently, some individuals or groups have been attempting to secure work or benefits by falsely claiming to be my relatives or using my name in various institutions, offices, and agencies. They have also been submitting applications to different offices, forging my signature, or making false claims that I have provided recommendations."
He further wrote, "Rather than considering any such lobbying or recommendations, instructions have been issued to promptly notify my personal secretary, and letters have been sent to all government offices and agencies."
Nahid Islam stated, "The interim government, created through the mass protests of students and the public is dedicated to ensuring that all government institutions operate with transparency and accountability."
