Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, the Governor of Bangladesh Bank, stated that the failure in the banking sector cannot be attributed to any one group alone, emphasizing that all parties bear some responsibility.
He made the remark on Sunday (Dec 29) during an event marking the Golden Jubilee of the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) in the capital.
The Governor said, "The banking sector has witnessed both successes and failures. However, no single group is entirely to blame for these failures; the responsibility is shared by all."
He also assured that the sector would recover quickly, adding, "The sector will grow, but it is essential to ensure the protection of depositors and investors."
