A co-coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and a student of the Arabic Department at Dhaka University from the 2021-22 session, Khaled Hasan, who had been missing for four days, has been found. According to Abdul Kader, coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Khaled was abducted.
Abdul Kader provided this information at 12:45 AM on Wednesday (December 25). He stated that Khaled was too scared to speak openly. When Kader spoke to Khaled privately, Khaled recounted his abduction.
According to Khaled, he lost consciousness while riding a rickshaw from TSC towards Doel Chattar on Friday afternoon. When he regained consciousness, he found himself inside a microbus near a petrol pump in Sunamganj. At that time, there were 2-3 others with him. He lost consciousness again shortly after.
The second time Khaled regained consciousness, he found himself somewhere in Panchagarh, and the microbus was still moving. The third time he woke up was earlier today, when he found himself lying by the side of a road in Barisal. Later, someone picked him up in a vehicle, and he eventually returned to Dhaka.
Abdul Kader mentioned that Khaled was in poor mental condition and unable to speak properly.
Professor Dr. Md. Faruk Shah, the provost of Shahid Sergeant Zahurul Haq Hall, said, “ I spoke to Khaled. He wanted to speak but seemed hesitant and frightened to share details. He looked extremely weak. After consulting a doctor, it was revealed that Khaled’s blood pressure had spiked. He is now being taken to Dhaka Medical College, and once his health improves, he will be able to share the full story.”
