The International Criminal Tribunal has granted a two-month extension for the investigation report on the July-August massacre case. The decision, made on Tuesday, was issued by a three-member tribunal chaired by Justice Golam Mortuza Majumdar, with Judges Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury and Shafiul Alam Mahmud also in attendance.
In addition, the tribunal has instructed law enforcement agencies to provide an update within two weeks regarding the progress of issuing an Interpol red notice for Sheikh Hasina.
The tribunal also mandated a progress report within two months on the case involving 16 individuals, including a former Awami League minister, who are linked to the July-August genocide.
