Engineer Ishraq Hossain, son of late Sadeq Hossain Khoka and also member of BNP's international affairs committee said conspirators have no right to politics in the country.
“Those who are conspiring against the country have no right to do politics in Bangladesh, he said, adding: “The Awami League led government has killed more than two thousand people to hold power.
He fears of jeopardy in future if those involved in the massacre are not punished.
He said: “Though we reclaimed our independence through movement, struggle, and fight, cronies of fallen dictator are trying to destabilize and render the country ineffective with her directives.”
He questioned about the citizenship of those who try to destabilize the country on the advice of foreign conspirators.
The politician made those remarks on Saturday while speaking as the chief guest at the award giving ceremony of Arafat Rahman Koko Memorial Football Tournament- 2024 at Raipura High School in Narsingdi.
Formal General Secretary of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Iqbal Hossain Shyamol was present at the event as the inaugurator.
Mentioning the role of the Narsingdi people in the liberation war, Mr Hossain said: “My father had a base in the district during the liberation war. The people of the district have sacrificed countless of lives during the July movement to restore freedom of expression.”
He said that under the dynamic leadership of BNP Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman, they have united the country people.
If we want to establish a country free of terrorism and corruption under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, we will have to safeguard the dignity and the interest of country people.
He called everyone, regardless of religion or caste, to stay vigilant to resist all evil forces.
