Hamza Choudhury, the English footballer of Bangladeshi origin who plays for English club Sheffield United, will arrive in Bangladesh on March 19.
This information was shared to the media by BFF executive committee member and media committee chairman Md. Amirul Islam Babu.
He said, “We hope that Hamza will join the national team before leaving for India. Hopefully, he will arrive on March 19.”
Meanwhile, the national football team’s conditioning camp for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers will begin on February 28. The camp will be held in two phases.
The first phase will be held in Dhaka from February 28 to March 4, while the second phase will be held in Saudi Arabia from March 5 to March 17. The team will return to Dhaka on March 20 and leave for India on March 21.
Everyone expects Hamza to make his debut for the Bangladesh national team in the third (final) round of the Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers to be held against India at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on March 25.
