Titumir College students on Monday night announced a shutdown of academic activities on college campus until their demand of upgrading the institution into a university is realised.
They ended the day’s blockade and hunger strike movement on assurances from authorities, but warned unless the demand is met by Wednesday, they would stage stricter demonstrations.
The protest organisers announced the moves in a press conference held on college campus as they returned from the Bangladesh Secretariat having ended their hunger strike movement.
