In the latest reshuffle in the police administration, 28 officials holding the ranks of Additional Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police have been transferred to different units.
The order was issued on Tuesday (November 12) signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) M Mainul Islam.
According to the order, 25 Additional Superintendents of Police and three Assistant Superintendents of Police have been transferred.
Earlier on Monday (November 11), two separate notifications from the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the transfer and attachment of 64 officers holding the ranks of Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Additional Deputy Inspector General (Addl. DIG), and Superintendent of Police (SP) ranks.
In one notification, a DIG, 8 Addl. DIGs and 39 SPs have been transferred to various units.
According to the notice, a DIG, 5 Addl. DIGs and 10 SPs have been attached to various units withdrawing from their current assignments.
