Bashundhara Group has employed two family members of Abu Sayed, a student of Begum Rokeya University who has made the supreme sacrifice in the recent student movement.
On behalf of Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, East West Media Group Executive Director Yasin Hossain Pavel handed over letters of appointment to Abu Hossain and Ramjan Ali, brothers of Abu Sayed, at their home in Pirganj of Rangpur on Wednesday.
Sayed’s father Maqbul Hossain and Bangladesh Pratidin's head of marketing Salahuddin Ahmed were present on the occasion.
Expressing gratitude to the Bashundhara Group chairman, Maqbul Hossain said that many come to meet us while the company provides sustainable support to our family.
“I am very happy today because Bashundhara Group employs my two sons. They are very good people, and may Allah bless the people of the company,” he said.
Yasin Hossain Pavel said Bashundhara Group has been supporting the students since the beginning of the movement.
“We have been helping the students who are being treated in hospitals. Supporting the family of martyred Abu Sayed is the wish of the Bashundhara Group chairman,” he said.
