Bashundhara Shuvosangho has stood by 11 victims who sustained injuries during the student-led mass uprising in Rangpur, reports Daily Sun.
On behalf of Bashundhara Group, the humanitarian platform provided Tk10,000 to each of the victims now undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
The victims include Masud Rana, Nure Alam, Rafi, Manwarul, Nayan, Mahabul, Al Amin, Saiful Islam, and Melon.
Members of the Rangpur unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho visited Rangpur Medical College Hospital and provided the financial assistance.
Bashundhara Shuvosangho district unit President Sadakat Hossain, General Secretary Tanjim Hasan, and intern of Rangpur Medical College Hospital Dr Riaz Sharif Limon were present, among others.
Sadakat Hossain said that Bashundhara Shuvosangho is always in favour of humanitarian work, and the members of the organisation are happy to stand by the victims of student movement.
