Bashundhara Group does not only remain within slogans but also works for the betterment of the country and its people. We distributed food among poor people in the country's northern area during the Coronavirus outbreak.
We are engaged in carrying out philanthropic activities, including providing scholarships to meritorious students of poor families to prevent them from dropping out. We have also turned 200 women into a worthy workforce by providing them with sewing training and sewing machines in Cumilla. Our social welfare activities are going on in different parts of the country. We have set up sewing training centres in almost all districts.
We established 10 sewing training centres in Cumilla on the directives of Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, Chairman of Bashundhara Group, and we handed over sewing machines to 200 women in the area.
We provide training and sewing machines to women who are poor but reluctant to seek support from others. We provide interest free loans to poor people.
The motto of Shuvosangho is to stand beside everyone in their good deeds. Upholding the spirit, we established 20 Bashundhara Shuvosangho Schools in the area. The Bashundhara Group will remain beside those who failed to continue their studies due to their financial crisis. Bashundhara wants to take the country forward by doing such humanitarian activities across the country, Daily Sun reports.
