The Public Administration Reform Commission held a view-sharing meeting with the upazila level government and non-government officers and employees here on Wednesday as part of its routine meeting across the country.
With Commission Chief Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury in the chair, Members Dr Mukhles Ur Rahman, Dr Sayeeda Shaheen Sobhan and Mehedi Hassan joined the meeting held at the Rajshahi field under Puthiya Upazila of the district, reports BSS.
Divisional Commissioner Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Deputy Commissioner Afiya Akhter and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nur Hossain Nijhar were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Commission Chief Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury reiterated that they want to submit a report containing field level information.
"We came here to gather the opinion of the public in general. We want to present an overall scenario to the government," he added.
"We have the sole motto to extract efficient services from the existing administration," he said.
Referring to the previous regime's police and NSI verification related to the political involvement, Abdul Muid Chowdhury said such types of verifications are not needed.
