I welcome the initiative of providing sewing machines to 200 destitute women of Cumilla with the help of Bashundhara Group.
The social platform of Bashundhara Shuvosangho has trained those destitute women. Bashundhara Group has stood by the poor women by providing sewing machines at free of cost and shown them the way to become self-reliant.
I thank them for that. I hope they will continue to do so in the future. Such works will prompt the journey of Smart Bangladesh vision of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. All of us should keep the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to drive a prosperous Bangladesh.
Many people in Cumilla get houses as gifts from the Premier. I myself have built houses for many people. Along with the government, if the country's businessmen take their own initiatives and stand by the poor people like Bashundhara Group does and create a way for them to become self-reliant, a developed Bangladesh will be created ahead of time.
To the recipient of the sewing machines I will say that you have to use this machine to the best of your needs. Train another member of your family with this machine. We all have to work together to give a beautiful Bangladesh to the next generation, Daily Sun reports.
