The search operation has been intensified to find the body parts of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency MP Anwarul Azim Anar, who was murdered in Kolkata.
Jihad Howladar, a butcher in profession and the suspect arrested in Anna's murder case, was interrogated and found that the body parts were dumped in Bhangar's Krishnamati area. And since then, the search operation has been going on for the last two days since Thursday night.
In the meantime, on Friday afternoon, a search operation was conducted in various places taking him along with the members of law enforcing agencies.
The members of Kolkata Police's Disaster Response Force have been downed into the water of Bagjola Canal of Jirangachha of Krishnamati area. But even after the searching the body parts were not found. And now a net was thrown in the canal to find the body parts. The boat was also lowered. The search operation started at 12:30 local time on Saturday. But the investigating officers have not been successful so far.
According to CID sources of the West Bengal Police, the arrested butcher might go to the duplex flat 'BU-56' in the elite Sanjeeva Garden in New Town and recreate the scene of crime spot.
