Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha arrived in Dhaka on Saturday on a five-day visit and will pay a courtesy call on PM Sheikh Hasina on Sunday, reports UNB.
The Director General (International Organizations), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wahida Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor of IUT, Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam welcomed the OIC Secretary General at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
He will also pay a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen.
As the Chancellor of the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), the OIC Secretary General will join the 35th Convocation of the IUT to be held on May 30.
Hissein Brahim Taha will also visit the Rohingya Camps in Cox’s Bazar, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
