5 killed in Joypurhat road accident

At least five people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a CNG run-auto-rickshaw in Maligari area under Khetlal upazila of Joypurhat on Monday morning.

Two of the deceased are Md Amjad, the driver of the auto-rickshaw, and passenger Shahinur Begum.

Confirming the matter, Rezaul Islam, sub-inspector of Khetlal Police Station, said the accident occurred around 11:15 am in the area.
