Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) President Sayem Sobhan Anvir is bent on ensuring dignity of the jewellery industry and the people associated with it.
BAJUS Vice-President Dr Dewan Aminul Islam Shahin made the above statement while exchanging views with Lakshmipur unit leaders and stakeholders at a district venue on Friday.
He called upon all gold traders across the country to be united under the umbrella of BAJUS to facilitate implementation of the dreams of Bashundhara Group Managing Director and BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir.
“We should come forward with unity to lead BAJUS for transforming the organisation under prudent leadership of Sayem Sobhan Anvir. He dreamt the goal as worthy child of worthy father,” Dr Dewan said.
BAJUS executive member Repnul Hasan, Pabitra Chandra Ghosh and district monitoring standing committee member Pronob Shaha were guests of honour on the occasion.
Lakshmipur District unit president Harihar Pal chaired over the meeting while publicity secretary Kishore Kumar Kuri conducted the discussion.
Discussant hailed the dynamic leadership of BAJUS president Sayem Sobhan Anvir for providing shadow as a banyan tree to all members of the organisation.
Around 350 members from different units of the organisation in nearer districts took part in the meeting. Feni district unit president Ismail Hossain Khokon, general secretary Golam Farooq Bachchu, Lakshmipur unit vice president Apurba Lal Roy, general secretary Ashok Kumar Saha Manik and assistant secretary Pradeep Kumar Kuri were also present among others.
