A civil aviation trolleyman was detained with four gold bars from the parking lot of Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Saturday.

The detainee was identified as Mohammad Ismail, a resident of Mirerhat union under Hathazari upazila of the district.

Acting on a tip-off, NSI and APBn conducted an operation after the landing of Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ flight BG-148 around 10:30 am and detained Ismail with four gold bars worth Tk 32 lakh.
