Five more dengue patients died and 927 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning in the country.
The dengue death toll has risen to 182 so far this year.
"During the period, 432 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 495 patients were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," said a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases rose to 35,365 across the country. Among them, 63.2 per cent are males and 36.8 per cent are females.
In 2023, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 dengue cases.
