Seven more dengue patient died and 860 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning in the country.
This is the highest death toll on a single day this year.
"During the period, 376 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 484 patients were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," said a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases rose to 28,565 while 3,324 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
In 2023, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 dengue cases.
