Oil prices jump amid Middle East conflict
Brent futures rose 83 cents, or 1.13 per cent, to $74.39 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose 88 cents, or 1.26 per cent, to $70.71 at 0029 GMT, coming slightly down from spiking by more than $1 earlier in the session.
