The Board of Directors of Rupali Insurance Company Limited has elected Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan as the new chairman of the company.
He became chairman at the company’s 212th board meeting, following the passing of former Chairman Mostafa Golam Quddus.
Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan, a distinguished industrialist and entrepreneur, brings with him vast experience in various sectors, including insurance, education, ready-made garments & textile industry and efficient leadership expertise as the managing director of Dragon Group.
In addition to his corporate endeavors, Sobhan was appointed as the first Honorary Consul of Uruguay in Bangladesh in 2023, working towards enhancing bilateral trade and diplomatic relations between the two nations.
