Metro rail service halts on Agargaon-Motijheel

Dhaka Metro rail services between Agargaon and Motijheel have been temporarily suspended due to a technical glitch since Wednesday morning.

However, trains are still operating between Uttara North and Agargaon stations.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) deputy general manager (administration) Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan told media that metro rail services between Agargaon and Motijheel have been temporarily suspended due to a technical glitch. However, the kind of technical fault is yet to be identified. 

He also hoped the service would be resumed as soon as possible.
