Students from Motijheel Government Boys and Girls High School took to the streets on Saturday in solidarity with the nationwide quota reform movement, which has intensified due to recent attacks, killings, and torture of students.
At 10 a.m., students gathered in front of Motijheel Government Boys High School, joined by parents and members of the general public expressing their support. The demonstrators voiced their demands through slogans, calling for the implementation of a nine-point demand list.
“How long will the game of death continue? Everything must be stopped, and therefore there is no time to sit at home – we must take to the streets to establish the truth,” the protesters chanted.
The students emphasized that the current situation in the country threatens their lives and property. They vowed to continue their agitation until their nine-point demands are met.
