Heavy rain is seen in almost every areas in Dhaka city from Friday morning. The continuous rain created water-clogging in many roads.
Still is still going on non-stop. Many roads in the capital including Karwan Bazar, Shahjahanpur, Malibag Railgate, Mouchak, Moghbazar, West Tejturi Bazar, Tejkuni Para, Dhanmondi, Border Bazar in West Shaorapara, Mollapara in South Manipur have already going through water clogging. Sometimes knee-deep water, sometimes waist-deep water has accumulated on these roads. There is no end to the suffering of pedestrians.
The Meteorological Department says monsoon is active. As a result, rain with thunder is forecast in all parts of the country on Friday. There may be heavy rain in some places.
According to the Meteorological Office, the axis of monsoon is extending across India's Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and northern parts of Bangladesh to Assam. An additional part of it extends to the northern Bay of Bengal.
Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and its moderate to strong over North Bay of Bengal. In this situation, light to moderate rain with gusty wind or rain with thunder may occur temporarily in most parts of the country till Friday evening, said the Meteorological Office. At this time, there may be heavy to very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.
