A mobile court conducted by Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Wednesday declared two commercial multi-storied buildings in the city’s Gulshan-2 area ‘risky’ for not having necessary fire safety measures.
The declaration came during a DNCC’s drive aimed at looking into the fire safety measures at different non-compliant buildings in Gulshan and Banani areas.
The DNCC team marked both the six-storied and seven-storied buildings by hanging cautionary banners for potential danger they pose in terms of fire hazard.
DNCC Zone-3 Executive Magistrate Julker Nayen led the mobile court.
