Shopaholic people thronged the centrally air-conditioned Bashundhara City at the last weekend before the Eid holidays to grab the lucrative offers from the branded lifestyle outlets.
This correspondenton Saturday found overwhelming crowd of shoppers and visitors who were trying to buy their best choices amid the coolest environment, reports Daily Sun.
Shoppers roamed around the shops at the premium market that housed shops of all renowned brands and outlets of quality products.
From clothing to ornaments and essential items for family, the shoppers tried to take the products at competitive prices while some people buy smart gadgets as part of Eid shopping.
The clothing brands like Aarong, Yellow, Le Reve, Sailor, Artisan, Raw Nation and Gentle Park give special offers to the customers who make payments using specific bank cards.
The sellers have experienced good transactions from shoppers at the last weekend while shoppers are also happy to take original products from the premium shopping mart.
“We are waiting for the weekend sales. Today, the sales are good compared to other days. Customers get special 10 discounts on purchase with bank cards of City, Standard Chattered and two other banks at our outlet,” Tanvir, a sales person at Gentle Park, told the Daily Sun.
Among the outlets on ground and first floors of Bashundhara City, there were found significant crowd at Yellow, Cats Eye, Ecstasy and other clothing outlets.
Sarfi Shitab Khan, an undergraduate student in Dhaka, loves to visit Bashundhara City along with friends to take food after checking the latest models of outfits.
“It [Bashundhara City] is not only a shopping mart for us. We often come here to enjoy movie and foods with friends. I have bought a polo t-shirt from Raw Nation for Eid,” Sharfi told the Daily Sun.
Techlovers also tried to take their favourite gadgets during Eid shopping as the pocket maintains good health with salary and bonus for many shoppers. There were found good crowd at the outlets of Samsung, Oppo, Tecno and other brands.
Abdul Kader, a private job holder, came from Gulshan-1 area to buy a smart phone.
“This mobile is my Eid shopping. I bought a Tecno Spark 10 Pro to win a motorcycle. Among other shopping mart, we have trust in shops at Bashundhara City for original electronics item,” he said.
Visitors provide leisure time for their children at Toggi Fun World and experience eateries such as Food Hall or Baba Rafi outlet after shopping at Bashundhara City. Star Cineplex at shopping complex is a preferred theatre for movie lovers.
