The BNP will hold "mass walk" protests in the capital on Saturday as part of its strategy of a "peaceful" anti-government movement.
Arranged by Dhaka North BNP, leaders and activists will walk silently in a new type of protest to press home their 10-point charter of demands, including the restoration of democracy from Badda Hossain market to Malibagh Abul Hotel at 2 pm.
The other demands include decreasing the prices of power and gas, ousting the government, and holding the forthcoming general election under a non-party caretaker government.
Dhaka North BNP member Aminul Haque said they will hold the march with placards and banners.
