Toggi Services Limited (TSL) Managing Director Safwan Sobhan on Thursday said Toggi has reached this position steadily by winning the hearts of the tech lovers and I believe the ongoing progress will accelerate further to transform the country into a ‘Smart Bangladesh’.
TSL, a technology venture of Bashundhara Group, celebrated its 4th founding anniversary on Thursday with a fresh vow to stand by the government in implementing newly projected ‘Smart Bangladesh’ vision by 2041.
A daylong programme was arranged at the TSL head office in Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital to mark the occasion, reports Daily Sun.
The government is gearing up to implement the ‘Smart Bangladesh’ vision as it has achieved its previous goal of ‘Digital Bangladesh’.
Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) President Subrata Sarkar and TSL Head of Operations Mohammad Uzzal Mollah were, among others, present at the celebration programme.
Kaler Kantho Editor Shahed Muhammad Ali and News24 Executive Editor Rahul Raha also joined the ceremony.
Safwan Sobhan said the digital revolution or the fourth industrial revolution is an integral part of the modern age.
“We now need to move forward quickly with technology as it has become the main driving force of the economy. We want to develop skilled manpower alongside producing modern technologies for the welfare of the country,” he said.
Addressing the function, BCS President Subrata Sarkar said the trade body has always been with Toggi Services and will continue to remain with the company.
"Toggi Services and Bashundhara Group have been with the ‘Digital Bangladesh’ vision. We hope Toggi will play an important role in realising the new vision of ‘Smart Bangladesh’ envisioned by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said.
On behalf of TSL, its Head of Operations Uzzal thanked all and hoped that they will be able to continue progress with everyone's cooperation.
“There’re many challenges in the way of implementation of digital revolution. We’ll come up with more surprises in future,” he said.
