The day temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius and the night temperature may rise slightly over the country, said the weather department on Thursday.
According to the latest weather bulletin of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
The country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Sylhet and the minimum temperature was 24 degrees Celsius in Rangamati.
The met office said the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours (Till 6 am Thursday) was recorded at 41mm in Barishal.
The sun sets at 6:23 pm today (Thursday) and rises at 5:38 am tomorrow (Friday) in Dhaka.
