A housewife was found dead at her residence in the capital’s Banasree on Saturday, police said. 

The deceased was identified as Laboni Akter Shohagi, 24, hailed from Gupinathpur village under Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur.

She was the mother of one son and a daughter.  

According to police, Laboni might be committed suicide by hanging herself over a family feud.

Khilgaon Police Station Sub-Inspector Sonia Parveen said, “On information, we went to the flat. We found her dead body lying on the bed.” 

The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy, added the police official.
