Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal was discharged from the hospital on Friday, four days after undergoing a heart stent procedure, officials confirmed.
Tamim, 36, returned home from Evercare Hospital in Dhaka and is not at significant risk, though doctors have advised him to rest.
The left-handed opener collapsed Monday during a Dhaka Premier League match at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) in Savar while playing for Mohammedan Sporting Club against Shinepukur Cricket Club.
He received initial treatment on-site before being transferred to KPJ Specialized Hospital, where an angioplasty was performed to clear a blockage in one of his heart arteries.
