Bangladeshi esports teams A1 eSports and KS AXE are set to compete in the PUBG Mobile Super League - Central and South Asia (PMSL CSA) tournament in Nepal from May 22 to June 15. The tournament will feature participants from Nepal, Pakistan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
Both A1 eSports and KS AXE traveled Nepal to participate in the qualifiers. The event boasts a total prize pool of 2 crore Bangladeshi Taka, with the top four teams earning a direct entry to the inaugural Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia in July, which has a staggering total prize money of Tk 658 crore.
Despite numerous challenges, Bangladeshi esports players are making significant strides in the competitive gaming scene. With adequate support, the teams are expected to perform well. Notably, in 2021, A1 eSports became the first Bangladeshi team to compete in the PUBG Mobile World Cup in Dubai, marking a significant milestone for the country's esports industry.
