Palestine thrashed Bangladesh by 5-0 in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifier match held at the Jabir Al-Ahmad
International Stadium in Kuwait on early Friday.
Forward Oday Dabbagh slammed a hat-trick with three goals while Shaheb Qunbar supported him with two goals for Palestine, who are ranked 97th in FIFA ranking, reports BSS.
Bangladesh admirably kept their tent unhurt as many as 42nd minutes but the defenders could not sustain the good work and conceded five goals eventually.

After the break, Shehad scored his and third goal for his team in the 49th minute before Oday widened the margin with a left-footed shot in the 52nd minute and completed the winners' tally scoring his hat-trick goal in the 76th minute of the match.
The two sides will meet each other in the second leg on March 26 in Dhaka.
