The Australia women's cricket team arrived in Dhaka to play a three-match ODI and three-match T20I series.
Both the ODI and T20I series will be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, starting from March 21 with an ODI, reports UNB.
Two other ODIs will be played on March 24 and 27. The ODI series is a part of the 2022-25 ICC Women’s Championship.
T2oIs will be played on March 31, and April 2, and 4. The Australia team will depart on April 5.
For this series, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squad under the leadership of Nigar Sultana. Nahida Akter will be her deputy.
While most members of the Australian team arrived in Dhaka, some will take Bangladesh’s flight later due to their duties in the Women’s Premier Leugue taking place in India.
Australian captain Alyssa Healy in this series arrived in Dhaka with the first contingent as her duty in WPL was completed.
Darcie Brown, the pacer, missed the Bangladesh tour due to a bone stress injury. Cricket Australia decided not to include a replacement; they, rather, named Grace Harris to be part of the whole tour after initially being named only for T20Is.
