India completed the demolition job of Australia inside three days by bowling them out for 91 in 32.3 overs in the second innings. It was Aussies’ second-lowest score against India and the host secured a win of an innings and 132 runs.
Earlier, India were all out for 400 thanks to the ton of Captain Rohit Sharma and unexpected ‘great’ batting at the lower order by Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Pattel.
Rohit hit 120, while Axar Patel scored 84 and Jadeja scored 77.
Australia’s Todd Murphy grabbed 7 wickets, but that costs 124 runs.
The visitor were all out for 177 in the first innings.
Jadeja was judged Player of the Match for his brilliant allround performance as he also got 7 wickets in 2 innings.
