India defeated New Zealand by 8 wickets and almost 30 overs to spare in second ODI match and confirmed the 3-match series win.
In the match held at Raipur in India on Saturday, winning the toss, India opted to bowl first.
Very tight and accurate bowling from Indian bowlers restricted the visitors at just 108 runs. Mohammad Shami took 3 wickets for 18 runs, while Washington Sundar and Hardik Pandiya took 2 wickets each by giving away just 7 and 16 runs respectively.
In reply, India never seemed to be chocked and chased the target down in just 20.1 overs. Rohit Sharma scored 51 and Shubman Gill was unbeaten with 40.
