India made 404 runs in the second day of Test Series against Bangladesh, thanks to resistance of Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav, as Bangladesh top-order collapsed.
India were 278 for 6 at the end of first day of the test, and lost Shreyas Iyer (86) early in the morning on Thursday. Then, Ashwin and Kuldeep put up a partnership of 92 to lead the team total cross 400 mark.
Ashwin scored 58 of 113 balls, and Kuldeep scored 40 of 114 balls.
Medidy Hassan Miraz and Taijul Islam took 4 wickets each for Bangladesh by giving away 112 and 133 runs respectively.
In reply, Bangladesh lost Nazmul Hossain Shanto at the very first ball of the innings. They also lost Yasir Ali, Liton Das and Zakir Hassan within short time. On the time of writing this report, Bangladesh were 74 for 4.
