The maiden ODI century of Mehidy Hasan Miraz helped Bangladesh to give 272 runs target to visitor India in the second match of the three-match series at Sher-e- Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.
A brilliant partnership between Mehidy and Mahmudullah Riyad rescued Bangladesh from the nosedive situation.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored 100 runs off 83 balls while Mahmudullah scored 77 runs from 96 balls.
On the other hand, Washington Sundar bagged 3 wickets while Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik got 2 wickets each.
Earlier, Bangladeshi skipper Litton Das won the toss and opted to bat first.
Bangladesh won the first match in the series by one wicket.
