Following the concerts of Pakistan's band Jal and singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, another band from Pakistan, 'Kaavish,' will be performing in Dhaka for the first time.
The concert titled 'Dhaka Dreams' will be held on January 10 and 11 at the Army Stadium in the capital. The event is organized by 'Blue Brick Communication.' The artists of 'Kaavish' will perform over two consecutive days at the concert, joined by several Bangladeshi bands and artists.
Sharaff Anjum Hilidita, Senior Executive Branding of 'Blue Brick Communication,' stated that On January 10, the first day of the concert, two Bangladeshi bands, Shunno and Level Five, will perform, and 'Kaavish' will perform afterward.
The second day's concert will begin with a performance by singer Armeen Musa and her band 'Ghaashphoring Choir.' Following that, as a special attraction, singer Shayan Chowdhury Arnob and his wife, West Bengal singer Sunidhi Nayak, will perform together. After all the performances, 'Kaavish' will take the stage again on the second day.
'Kaavish' is a semi-classical band from Pakistan, formed in 1998 by singer Jaffar Zaidi and Maaz Maudood. Their first album, 'Gunkali,' was released in 2009. Some of the band's well-known songs include 'Bachpan,' 'Tere Pyar Mein,' 'More Saiyaan,' 'Nindiya Re,' and 'Faasle.'
