For some time, there had been much speculation about Afran Nisho. Since his film debut with ‘Surongo’ a year and a half ago, there has been no credible information regarding his upcoming projects. Finally, Afran Nisho's second film has started shooting. According to media sources, he has begun filming ‘Dagi’, a movie featuring two heroines. It was initially planned to start the shoot with an official announcement, but due to complications, that was not possible, reports kalerkantho.

‘Dagi’ is being directed by Shihab Shaheen. It was already known that Toma Mirza would be Afran Nisho's lead actress in the film.
However, besides Toma, there is another lead actress in the movie as well. She is Sunerah Binte Kamal, the National Film Award-winning actress known for ‘No Dorai’. Currently, she is quite busy with her work in television dramas.
The production company of the film, SVF Alpha-I Entertainment has chosen not to make any official statements at the moment. They have announced that a press conference will be held to share more details about the movie. ‘Dagi’ is scheduled for release during Eid-ul-Fitr in 2025.
