Bangladesh Women’s Football Team captain Sabina Khatun said the tigress footballers will be benefited if they get individual sponsorships like what other country’s footballers get.
“The footballers from different countries like Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan, especially their star players, have individual sponsorships. We don’t have that. If we get it, we will be benefited, football will be benefited,” she told reporters when asked what she or other footballers expect from sponsors and organizers in a ceremony on Sunday, reports The Daily Sun.
Walton Group accorded a reception to the SAFF Champions Bangladesh women’s national football team in that ceremony at the BFF house on this day.
Walton Group Senior Executive Director FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn handed over refrigerators to each member of the team.
The SAFF Champions team members, head coach Peter James Butler, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Executive Committee member and Committee for Women’s Football Chairman Mahfuza Akhter Kiran, and other distinguished personalities were also present there.
