The ‘poor performance’ of Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' at the box office has not only become a cause of concern for film industry insiders, but it is also making Salman Khan's fans unsettle, reports Times of India.
In a rather interesting turn of events, Salman's fans took to Twitter to call for the removal of Shah Rukh Khan from the upcoming film 'Tiger 3'. While there were times when fans were eager to see the B-town besties team up on the big screen, Salman's fans seem convinced that Shah Rukh will bring a 'panoti' (bad luck) to the film.
Tagging production house YRF Studios in their posts, several fans asked for the removal of the actor's rumoured cameo in the upcoming film.
A Twitter user said, "Please yrf a humble request from fans remove Srk from Tiger3 don't want this panoti to ruin the film ."
Another said, "Shooting has not started yet so this is the right time... @yrf please remove @iamsrk's cameo from the Tiger3."
"Bhai doesn't need anyone in the film......he alone has the power to make the film Blockbuster... Remove SRK from Tiger," another added.
The posts like these gave way to a fan-war erupting between fans of both actors. Trolls cashed in on the trend and went on to share some rather distasteful posts about Shah Rukh Khan. Some even went as far as blaming the actor for the box office failures of the films he made cameos in.
Shah Rukh is expected to make a cameo in the upcoming film that is rumoured to start off a spy universe in Bollywood. 'Tiger 3' that is slated to release in 2023 will also see Katrina Kaif returning as her character Zoya.
