Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has announced that the temporary extension granted to expired and soon-to-expire entry visas will end from June 7, reports Gulf News.
The ministry said the extension was introduced on March 3 following regional tensions, airspace closures and flight cancellations triggered by the US-Israel war on Iran that began on February 28.
Authorities said regular visa validity rules, renewal procedures and applicable fees will resume after the deadline.
The ministry urged residents, visitors and all concerned individuals to ensure their legal status remains valid by renewing visas within the specified period, paying the required fees or leaving the country after visa expiry.
It also warned that violating visa regulations could lead to legal action, including penalties for overstaying, under Qatari laws and procedures.
