There is a possibility of storms blowing over eight regions of the country on Friday. Along with rain, there may be thunder storm.
This information was shared in the forecast given by the Meteorological Department for the country's inland river ports from 5 am to 1 pm on Friday.
The message signed by meteorologist Dr. Md. Omar Farooq said that there is a possibility of storms blowing over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Comilla and Sylhet regions.
This storm may come from the west or northwest at a speed of 45-60 kilometers per hour. In addition, there is a possibility of rain with thunder as well.
In this situation, the Meteorological Office has asked the river ports of the eight districts to hoist warning signal number one.
Meanwhile, the forecast for the entire country till 6 pm today says that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds and lightning at some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Thunderstorms may also occur. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in the country.
Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country and night temperatures may rise slightly.
